The structure of such kind of synthetic turf only have strait yarns and the height is very hight with 40mm to 60mm.It needs infilling silica sand,rubber granule(SBR,EPDM,TPE…).
How to clean snow on your artificial turf correctly:
Do not use snow-melting chemical products or salt:
Do not use any sonw melting chemicals on your artificial turf lawn.
Some ingredients in chemical will influence the durability of artificial grass.
After drying, the salt will attach to the surface of grass yarns and hard to clean.
Brushing snow carefully:
If you encounter big snow which will make it hard to melt naturally. Maybe you can use brush and plastic or rubber shovel to remove snow or ice from your artificial lawn.
Snow blower is a good choice for cleaning:
Before icing, you can use snow blower to blow off the snow on artificial turf, but should be take care of the infills, expecially artificial football turf fields, the rubber granules is light.
